    Your AI Agent Can Now Run Your Congress Setup in Conwayo

    Setting up a congress in a registration system is rarely hard. It is just long. Event details, dates, venue, ticket types for specialists, residents and students, early-bird deadlines, a gala dinner, a workshop with limited seats, cancellation terms, an English version of everything. The organizer already knows all of it. The system makes them type it in, one field at a time.

    Many organizers now spend part of their working day in an AI assistant anyway. So we asked a simple question: why not let that assistant do the setup?

    That is what the Conwayo MCP server does.

    What MCP is, in one paragraph

    MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to other software and work inside it. Instead of copying answers out of a chat window and pasting them into a form, the assistant uses the software directly, through actions the software defines and only with the permissions you give it. Claude and ChatGPT both support it.

    Claude or ChatGPT, your choice

    Conwayo works with the agent your team already uses. You add Conwayo as a connector, sign in with your Conwayo account, and from that point you can simply talk to your agent about your event.

    A typical first message looks like this:

    “Set up our annual cardiology congress in Zagreb, 14 to 16 May. Three ticket types: specialists, residents and students, with an early-bird price until the end of February. Add a gala dinner as an optional extra.”

    The agent creates the event as a draft in Conwayo, adds the ticket types and the extra service, and then works through what is still missing, one item at a time: cancellation terms, the program, how many seats each tier has, which registration channels you want to open.

    It does not invent anything. If you do not know a detail yet, it asks or leaves it empty.

    What your agent can do in Conwayo

    • Create and edit events. Name, dates, venue, description, program and cancellation policy.
    • Set up ticket types and extra services. Target group, price, sales deadline and capacity for each.
    • Handle languages. Every Conwayo event has an English version. If you write in Croatian, the agent prepares the English translation for you. If you write in English, the event stays English only.
    • Collect your visuals. The agent sends you an upload link for your banner, logo and program PDF, and tells you the recommended dimensions before you upload.
    • Customise the registration page. Colours, required fields on the registration form and which channels are open: web, WhatsApp or voice.
    • Keep you up to date after launch. Once registrations open, ask your agent how many people registered this week, which ticket types sell, or export a list for badges and hotel rooming.

    Built to be safe and compliant

    Letting an AI agent work inside a system that handles registrations, payments and personal data needs clear limits. These are ours.

    Your login, your permissions. The connection uses a standard OAuth sign-in with your own Conwayo account. Your agent sees exactly what you see in the Conwayo admin portal: your own events and your own institution. Nothing else.

    You stay in control of every change. In Claude, every action that creates or changes something in Conwayo is set to “Needs approval” by default. The agent proposes, you confirm.

    A human review before anything goes live. Events created through MCP are saved as drafts and sent to our team for review. We connect pricing to invoicing and accounting on our side, check the event and only then publish it. Invoicing codes, tax settings and payment rules are never set by the agent.

    GDPR as everywhere else in Conwayo. The same data protection rules apply as on the rest of the platform: data hosted in the EU, access separated per organizer, and attendee data visible only to the organizer of that event.

    No decisions about people. The agent helps you set up and manage events. It does not approve or reject registrations, decide on discounts or evaluate attendees.

    Who it is for

    We are opening MCP access to selected organizers first, together with a short onboarding session. Our own team uses it every day, so we catch rough edges before you do.

    • would rather describe your event once than fill in the same forms every year
