1. Description of the Service
Conwayo is a platform owned by Penta turistička agencija d.o.o., Izidora Kršnjavoga 25, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, VAT ID (OIB): 31375495391 (hereinafter: "Conwayo", "the Platform", "we"), which, among other things, provides information society services.
The Conwayo Platform enables Organisers to: publish events, sell tickets/registration fees, digitally distribute tickets, registration fees or confirmations, and have continuous insight into the status of registrations and the history of completed transactions.
The Conwayo Platform enables the Buyer to: browse events, register for events, purchase registration fees/tickets, and access digital tickets or accreditations (registered buyers only).
Conwayo acts as a technical operator and intermediary between the Organiser and the Buyer, unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Definitions
Organiser — A legal or natural person who publishes and promotes an event via the Platform and sells registration fees/tickets representing the right to participate in that event.
Buyer — Any visitor who has come to the Platform with the intention of obtaining information about and/or purchasing a ticket offered on the Platform. The Buyer may or may not be a "consumer". Only a natural person may have consumer status. A person under 16 years of age may not be a Buyer within the Conwayo system. During the transaction, Conwayo will allow the Buyer to select whether they are acting as a consumer (payment via a private invoice) or in their professional capacity, i.e. on behalf of a company or market entity (payment via a business/VAT invoice). Where a Buyer, when purchasing a ticket/registration for an event, carries out the transaction on behalf of a legal entity or market entity and therefore requests a business invoice, they cannot be considered a consumer and consumer protection regulations will not apply to them.
Participant — Any natural person who has obtained the right of access to a specific event through the Buyer's registration.
User — Any person using the Platform, including Organisers and Buyers.
Event — A conference, training, seminar, workshop, webinar, networking event, or other event published on the Platform.
Registration Fee/Ticket — The right of access to a specific event, which the Buyer uses to identify themselves to the Organiser on the day of the event.
The Conwayo Platform — Conwayo is not the organiser of an event, unless expressly stated otherwise on the event page. Conwayo facilitates the conclusion of a contract between the Buyer and the Organiser, provides the technical infrastructure, acts as an intermediary in the collection of registration fees, and enables the issuance of invoices and confirmations. Conwayo is not liable for: the content of the event, the quality of the programme, changes to the schedule, cancellation of the event, the Organiser's conduct, or the fulfilment of the Organiser's obligations towards Buyers. Conwayo is liable for its own obligations towards consumers using the Platform within the scope of its duties as the Platform service provider.
3. Registration and User Account
Registering a user account is not required to purchase tickets/registration fees. If a Buyer accesses the Platform and makes a purchase as a Guest, they will receive the purchase confirmation, invoice, and ticket at the email address provided at the time of purchase, but will not have access to the Platform to retrieve the ticket later. A Buyer who creates a user account on the Platform will, in addition to receiving the purchase confirmation, invoice, and ticket by email, have access to their purchase history.
The User is responsible for: the accuracy of their data, the security of their access credentials, and all activities carried out through their account.
The following is prohibited: using another person's data, sharing a user account, and misuse of the Platform.
Persons under 16 years of age may not use the Platform.
By registering or opening a user account, purchasing, or downloading tickets on the Conwayo platform, the User is deemed to have fully read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Sale and the General Terms of Use of the Platform.
4. Changes to the Terms and Content
Conwayo reserves the right to withdraw or amend these Terms of Sale at any time and without prior notice, if it deems this necessary. We therefore advise Users to periodically re-read the information contained in the Terms of Sale to stay informed of any such changes. Please note that if the Terms of Sale change and the User continues to use the Conwayo system, it is understood that the User has fully read, understood, and accepted the new Terms.
Conwayo may remove or restrict access to platform content, including a Buyer's user account, if it violates applicable regulations, these General Terms, the rights of third parties, or the Platform's security standards. Decisions to remove content may be made automatically, with the User retaining the right to object via the available channel at registration@conwayo.ai.
5. Purchase of Tickets/Registration Fees
A Buyer may purchase one or more tickets/registration fees, entering, for each ticket/registration fee, the first and last name and email address of the person who will exercise the right to participate in the event under the conditions set by the Organiser.
Before confirming the purchase, the Buyer will be clearly shown: the name, date, time, and location of the event, the price of the ticket/registration fee, any additional fees, the payment method, and the cancellation and participation conditions.
The purchase is considered complete upon successful payment authorisation (card payment) or upon receipt of payment against an offer/quote into the Platform's transaction account.
After receipt of payment, the Buyer will receive the purchase confirmation, invoice, and event ticket at their email address.
Conwayo reserves the right to refuse or cancel a transaction in the event of: suspected misuse, technical error, incorrectly displayed pricing, or breach of these Terms.
6. Prices and Fees
The price of the registration fee is set by the Organiser.
Conwayo may charge: a transaction processing fee, a Platform usage fee, and fees for additional services.
All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable.
The total amount payable will be displayed before the purchase is completed.
7. Payment
Payment is made through authorised payment service providers (e.g. Stripe).
Conwayo does not store payment card data.
Depending on the event, available payment methods may include: credit and debit cards, bank transfer, and other digital payment methods.
For payment by bank transfer: the registration is valid only once the payment has been recorded, and any booking for which payment has not been received will be cancelled.
8. Delivery of Tickets/Registration Fees and Confirmation
After a successful purchase, the Buyer and all Participants will: receive purchase confirmation by email, and gain access to a digital ticket, QR code, or registration confirmation.
The Organiser may set: specific access conditions, additional identification requirements, or later delivery of accreditation.
The Buyer and Participants are responsible for: safekeeping the ticket, protecting the QR code, and the accuracy of contact details.
9. Use of Tickets/Registration Fees
The Buyer is obliged to safeguard purchased Conwayo tickets/registration fees and their barcodes, and must not give them to third parties. Neither Conwayo nor the Organiser is liable for stolen, lost, destroyed, or copied tickets. The Buyer acknowledges that if their ticket/registration fee or QR code is stolen, the Organiser may, in certain cases, be unable to determine that the Ticket was stolen, and the first person to enter the event with that Ticket and its QR code will be considered to hold a valid Ticket.
When registering for an event, the Organiser may verify the validity of the Buyer's tickets/registration fees in one of the following ways: checking the Buyer's identity document, visual inspection of a printed ticket, checking the ticket on the Buyer's mobile phone, or scanning the ticket code (QR code, etc.) with a dedicated reader. Entry control is the exclusive responsibility of the Organiser, and Conwayo is not liable for this process.
Reproduction, sale, or trading of Tickets is strictly prohibited, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Any attempt to use a Ticket that is not in accordance with these terms and rules will result in that Ticket becoming void.
10. Event Cancellation and Refunds
Conwayo is not the organiser of the event and does not decide on: cancellation, rescheduling, or changes to the programme.
Decisions on refunds are made by the Organiser, who defines the conditions and deadlines for cancelling a purchase and issuing refunds for each of its events.
A refund of the registration fee is possible only: if the event is cancelled, if the schedule is significantly changed, if so defined in the specific event's Cancellation Terms, or in other cases where the Organiser approves it.
A refund is not possible due to: the Participant's personal reasons, illness, inability to attend, change of mind, or business obligations.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, the Participant does not have the right to unilaterally withdraw from a contract for leisure-related services provided at a specific date and time.
11. Platform Fees
Fees charged by Conwayo for: processing a registration, use of the Platform, transaction processing, and issuance of a digital ticket or accreditation, are considered a service rendered upon completion of the purchase and are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
12. User Conduct
Users are prohibited from: misusing the Platform, attempting unauthorised access to the system, distributing malicious content, using automated tools for mass registrations or purchases, or violating the rights of other Users or Organisers.
Conwayo may: suspend a user account, deny access to the Platform, or cancel transactions, if it determines a breach of these Terms or a security risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
Conwayo is liable solely for the proper functioning of the Platform, within reasonable limits.
Conwayo is not liable for: the conduct of the Organiser, the quality of the event, any damage arising from participation in the event, loss of data caused by force majeure, technical interruptions beyond its control, or the operation of third-party services (Stripe, Meta, Google, etc.).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conwayo's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by the Participant to Conwayo for the specific transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights guaranteed by mandatory regulations.
14. Force Majeure
Conwayo is not liable for delays or the inability to fulfil obligations caused by: natural disasters, war, epidemics, cyberattacks, disruptions to communication networks, decisions of public authorities, or technical failures beyond its reasonable control.
15. Protection of Personal Data
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy available on the Platform.
The Organiser and Conwayo may act as separate data controllers, depending on the nature of the processing.
16. Complaints and Customer Support
Users may send a written complaint by email to registration@conwayo.ai.
A response to the complaint will be provided no later than 15 days from receipt.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia.
The competent court in Zagreb has jurisdiction over all disputes, except where mandatory consumer protection regulations provide otherwise.
